Steps 4 Change provides services to the homeless or about to be homeless.

We provide outreach on the street and work to build trust and to connect the homeless with assistance and referrals to:

  • Housing
  • Medical
  • Mental Health
  • Drug/Alcohol Treatment
  • Financial Assistance (Referrals to:Cal-works, GR, Food Stamps, SSI, etc.)
  • Help with filing paperwork
  • Job Assistance
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Low Cost ID Vouchers
  • Hygiene Products
  • Rain Ponchos

We also have a once a month homeless peer group for the homeless to discuss problems they are dealing with and solutions with each other and to realize they are not alone and have support. These meeting are free but a space to have the meetings is needed. If you have a space you would like to provide please contact us.

We also help by providing Better Life Management and Decision making workshops. The workshops are for 1 1/2 hours each. The workshops can be tailored and scheduled to suit your Agencies needs. The cost of the standard workshops depends on how many classes per month. The standard workshop consists of 4 workshops per month for 3 months the cost is $500.00 per month totaling $1500.00 including all materials. You just provide the space for the classes. The number of participants can be any amount up to 25 per 3 month standard workshop. If you would like to provide year round workshops for your clients call for pricing.
